Where do we get a stroller?

Strollers can be booked through Disney, however this is one area we recommend going “off-site” to accommodate.

We generally book strollers for our clients that are delivered to their resort, room or front desk, and cost less and are higher-end than what Disney provides. Then at the end of your trip, you simply drop the stroller off at the front desk as you are on the way out. Let us know if you’d like to book a stroller and we’ll make it happen!

My child gets around just fine, do I still need a stroller?

For any child under 50 inches tall, we say STROLLER IS A GO!

Even if you have a very active child, Disney is a lot of walking and standing and tired kids can get a little grumpy.

Another perk of having a stroller is you have a great place to store a cooler, backpack, or purse when walking around as the strollers we order for our clients have underneath storage… seriously convenient!

“Stroller parking” (what you see in the picture) is all over the place and easy to manage. You will not regret having a stroller.

Should I use my Disney Meal Plan for a restaurant that requires 2 credits per person?

Short answer, no.

Here is why: There are only a handful of Disney restaurants in the parks that require 2 credits. The restaurants that require 2 credits are more expensive, but not two-times as expensive as a typical meal at a restaurant that only requires 1 table service credit. We recommend you save your credits and pay out of packet for the 2 credit places.

Another 2-credit situation you probably want to avoid is room service and pizza delivery, it’s just not worth it. We recommend going out of pocket for this as well.

Meal plans are a great value if used properly. We know it can seem confusing, but we have the answers!

From one table service restaurant to another, are they all about the same in cost?

The restaurants vary quite a bit from place to place and even meal to meal. For example, Be Our Guest is one of the priciest restaurants in Magic Kingdom for dinner, but one of the least expensive table service spots for breakfast and lunch.

We have a very easy to follow breakdown of all the restaurants in our Magic Travel Plan Guide, (click “Guide” to access)!

What are Magic Bands and do I need them?

Magic Bands are the single most convenient innovation Disney has ever put forth. They are free when you book with a resort and hold all your meal plan and fast pass information in addition to your park admission ticket information. You can even opt to store a payment method on the magic band for convenience, but that is up to you.

Magic bands come in a variety of colors and when you plan with us we’ll get you all set up!

How early can I book fast passes, dining reservations, stroller rental, and resort?

Time frames for booking these items vary depending on where you stay; on or off Disney properties. We recommend you book as early as possible (at least 6 months before travel date), but we also understand last minute decisions happen. We have booked trips as “late” as 10 days before travel and been fine (but it was a hustle, Ha).

You can book your entire Disney vacation with Magic Travel Plan at any time and we pay attention to the various deadlines so you get the best chance at securing all the experiences you want.
